Hi ,
Thanks so much for clicking on this email.
Are
you feeling the pressure? 😩
👉 To know it all? 👉 To know all the latest information? 👉 To have the best resources, and the most amazing games and activities? 👉
To have ready-to-go information handouts and all the things?
Youβre not alone. 💖
We want to desperately do our best and often we put so much pressure on ourselves to have
all the answers, resources, handouts and information.
& we just canβt.

Itβs important to remember that clients come to see us. Because they believe that we care and we can help them. 🤩
When we can be open that we donβt know (but can find out), it not only empowers you but also the
family you are working with. If you donβt have all the answers, maybe itβs ok that they donβt either.
When I mentor Speechies, if I donβt have the answer, it helps them realise that even with 23 years of experience, you might still not know and thatβs ok!
In fact, it allows for honesty, transparency and creates a space for collaboration and team work. We can all work together to create the best outcomes that is truly tailored to what that person needs.
Itβs so empowering, freeing and it also gives you space to learn, to evolve, to adapt and try new things without the fear of getting it wrong.Β 😍
It makes you human, vulnerable and so much easier to connect with.
So the next time you have that sinking feeling in your gut that you donβt know, lean into it.
Itβs ok to not know. & itβs an opportunity to not just learn but to also connect.

& as always send me an email or a DM @thespeechielife_ and let me know how you are leaning in to not having all the answers. I would love to know 💖
